A custom-built station for filling your Big Bags
Our design office recently developed a custom station to optimise Big Bag filling at a chemical plant based in Germany. Our client wanted a stainless steel station for filling flexible containers of different sizes.
Technical features of the Big Bag filling station
Our design office developed a height-adjustable filling station capable of filling different sizes of Big Bag.
In addition, a fastening collar was secured to the Big Bag filling station’s outlet spout to enable filling of Big Bags with different opening systems (filler neck or skirt). This type of collar allows attachment of all our client’s Big Bag versions regardless of the flexible container’s opening system.
Our design office equipped the Big Bag filling station with fork slots to create the most ergonomic handling system possible. This facilitates and speeds up the structure’s installation process. Four removable wheels with brakes were also fitted to optimise movement of the filling station and secure it when stationary.
