Flexible tugger trains 

The industrial tugger train was designed with lean manufacturing in mind and for optimising transportation of our client’s components to the workstation.

• It comprises a Crossing Storoll  system for transporting heavy loads of up to 800kg on the one hand, and
• trolleys of different sizes – either standard bases measuring 800x600mm and/or 600x400mm, or bases with client-specific dimensions.

The result is a tugger train with considerable flexibility in optimising line-side supply. The gantry system of the wagons making up the tugger train enables trolley insertion and removal either side of the tugger train (right or left side) in any order and extremely quickly, ensuring a remarkable gain in productivity. In addition, the custom-built tugger train can accommodate all our client’s containers, regardless of size and load. Last but not least, the 100% mechanical industrial tugger train is a single-track system, making it the ideal intralogistics solution on industrial sites with narrow aisles.
