Custom-built trolley design and development
Our teams recently designed and developed a workshop trolley for a world-leading supplier of measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial processes. The purpose of this trolley is to optimise and facilitate the machine nozzle cleaning process.
Technical features of the workshop trolley
The main workshop trolley unit is a container including a plastic bag and a slot. Machine nozzles can be cleaned quickly and easily: the operator partly inserts the machine nozzle into the slot and cleans it with an air gun. Any impurities and remaining cleaning solution are blown into the bag to permit fluid recycling.
Sound ergonomics ensured by internal soundproofing and an exhaust muffler in the main unit. Cleaning is much quieter and the operator is less exposed to noise.
The workshop handling cart features several practical spaces for storing PPE (personal protective equipment), such as a glove box, a small bin, a torch, containers for (dirty/clean) parts and an air gun holder.
The workshop trolley is mounted on 4 castors enabling easy transfer between machines.
