Lean tugger train for transporting bins
Our client requires its lean tugger train to transport “standard” 240L bins measuring 550 x 580 mm and with a working load of up to 150 kg. However, industry-standard bins have “basic” wheels that are not designed to run in trains.
Plateau Storci is the ideal solution for the job. This lean tugger train model can transport our client’s bins with no floor contact throughout the entire run. In addition, the loading ramps on both sides of the lean tugger train enable the bins to be inserted and removed on either side (right or left) and in any order.
To fully meet our client’s needs, our design office made further adaptations to the lean tugger train, including:
Addition of a specific drawbar at the front to allow the train to be towed behind the client’s existing low profile trolleys.
